The label is incredibly cute, but we all know we can’t always buy wine based on the label. There are some pretty epic wines with really awful designs…this always floors me, I’m like…howwww. Recaredo is arguably the most famous and prestigious cava producer in Penedes, Spain, and while they most famously make sparkling wine they also had a strong desire and passion to make still wines. Since Recaredo is so closely associated with sparkling wine, they started a little still wine side hustle called Celler Credo and thus, their foray into still wines has flourished. Miranius is made from 100% Xarel-lo, the same wine that Cava is made from, but this is sourced from vineyards around the family home. The weight of the wine is ethereal, almond energy and lemon zest unite for supreme balance.
