I love that the Bret Brothers are calling this gamay Zen. Honestly it feels like a lot of what I need right now: how do you balance the pace of life, the movement of time with the eternal goal of being zen. I guess we start here? LOL! The Bret Brothers are seeking to create a wine that has a real magical component to it, a “vibration” as they would say. This is an expressive Gamay that is delicious as soon as you open it. It’s made by two brothers who are mostly known for their wines from Burgundy. They have an obsession with terroir and making wines that can age and evolve in their elegance. This wine is a perfect example of how well gamay can age. It’s a light red wine that has plush, soft fruit, beautiful texture and is ready for a seat at the table!
Serving temp: Cellar temp around 65 degrees, store in a dark and cool spot!
Pairing: Chicken pot pie!
